After completing his undergraduate education at Cornell University, Dr. Scott Chapman attended Chiropractic College at the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Illinois.Dr. Carol DeFranca obtained a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University prior to attending Chiropractic College at the National University of Health Sciences.

Husband and wife and partners, Drs. Scott Chapman and Carol DeFranca are experienced and highly skilled chiropractic doctors who have developed a specialty in spine and sports rehabilitation having trained with top experts in Europe, Great Britain and the U.S.

Drs. Scott Chapman and Carol DeFranca work with athletes of all ages and skill levels. They consult with professional athletes in the National Football League including players for the: Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Through their experiences, Drs. Scott Chapman and Carol DeFranca have developed a unique clinical approach to treating many different problems involving the muscular, skeletal and nervous systems by combining Chiropractic Methods, Nutritional Support, Neuro-Muscular Treatment and Rehabilitation Techniques.

After completing his undergraduate education at Cornell University, Dr. Scott Chapman attended Chiropractic College at the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Illinois. Dr. Carol DeFranca obtained a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University prior to attending Chiropractic College at the National University of Health Sciences.

Drs. Chapman and DeFranca were selected to specialize in Orthopedics at NUHS and participated in orthopedic surgical and clinical rotations at Foster McGraw Hospital - Loyola University, Hinsdale Hospital and Glen Oaks Hospital. Drs. Chapman and DeFranca are two of ten chiropractic doctors in the United States who have completed orthopedic residency training in this program. Both earned Board Certification in Chiropractic Orthopedics.

Dr. Chapman served as clinical instructor for two years at National University’s main clinical facility where he directed rehabilitation services and trained residents in orthopedics, radiology and family practice.

Drs. Chapman and DeFranca are respected professional instructors holding Post-Graduate Faculty status with the Southern California University of Health Sciences, NUHS and Charles University School of Medicine, Prague, Czech Republic having conducted over 200 seminars and workshops all over the world. In addition, Drs. Chapman and DeFranca have authored and published journal articles, text chapters and instructional videos on spinal rehabilitation and chronic pain management.
